MEET THE FOUNDER

Matt Wilson is a proud graduate of Alabama State University and former college football player who built his career on leadership, teamwork, and service. He spent 20 years in special education, supporting students and families before transitioning into Guardian Protection.

Based in the Atlanta, Georgia area, Matt comes from a deeply patriotic family with a strong military legacy. After working closely with Veterans, he was inspired to create a trusted company dedicated to First Responders and Veterans.

For Matt, this work is more than a business—it’s personal. Guardian Protection exists to honor our nation’s heroes with integrity, respect, and care.

Eric Brielmaier spent more than 26 years serving in the United States Coast Guard, rising to the rank of Master Chief and building a career defined by versatility and service. From Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue to IT, instruction, and recruiting, he embraced every role with a steady hand and a commitment to helping others succeed. His final assignment brought him to Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C., where he served as a Regional Supervisor in the Recruiting Command.

Along the way, Eric earned degrees in Network Engineering and Cyber Security and is now pursuing his MBA. Outside of uniform, he has always been deeply rooted in his community—coaching high school wrestling for over two decades and leading several nonprofit initiatives focused on youth and engagement.

Known for his reliability, thoughtful leadership, and collaborative approach, Eric brings a calm, problem‑solving mindset to every challenge. He now lives in Marietta, Georgia with his family, two dogs, and a small flock of chickens, staying active, exploring new interests, and continuing to invest in the people and communities that matter most to him.
